Ilford HP5 & Catlabs 80
Thanks to the teaching of a friend, Matt, I successfully developed my first few rolls of film. Being a very hands-on learner, I never really had the opportunity to learn about film development until now. Matt was very patient with me and I feel I absorbed quite a bit in the day we spent discussing and practicing the process. I still have a lot to learn, but regardless am thrilled to have this first experience under my belt. My first roll in the tank was a roll of Ilford HP5 I took around my apartment building. I considered this a throw-away roll, in case anything went wrong, which I am pleased to say didn’t happen. My second roll was one I took of Caleigh on Catlabs 80, a new film to me. Despite being anxious about it, I was so thrilled to see both rolls came out just fine.
